With the state of Ohio banning offshore outsourcing business recently, the US today sought to allay apprehensions here that the move will have any impact on Indian business, saying that the two nations would "get through this".
"Will that outsourcing issue have an impact on Indian business? I highly doubt it...This happened back in 2005 and it did not impact Infosys or Wipro or the major Indian industries. We will get through this time too," US Ambassador Timothy J Roemer told reporters here.
He was asked about the protectionist measures taken by some states while India and US have a good relation.
Roemer said that the relationship between India and US is "on the move, constantly improving and growing in very positive manner".
